I just recently involved myself in the study of LaTeX (not capital as the title says) (pronounced Latek). To my observation this tool seems extremely worthy, considered of very high value to researchers and article writers, considered an essential tool for Mathematicians and most of all editing Question Papers for Academicians.
LaTeX is a simple software that allows writers to not bother much about formatting but only about the content. This is specially very helpful for developers. For example, creating a software tutorial, inserting class diagrams, mathematical functions, all as a very structured documented manual. You don't have to worry about positioning a shape or an equation. Just add codes with the content and the library will generate the rest for you. There is a LaTeX command library that helps to generate the documents through its in-built command functions that compile, build and generate the documents for you. I took the initiative to do a background study for the same (even started my research topic). These are the few links I have come across. YouTube tutorials for LaTeX

Hope you enjoy studying LaTeX the same way I do!! Always looking forward to hearing new updates from you. ~Brian

WebGL is a technology that uses the Internet to render 2D/3D graphics. This technology initiates a new era of graphics rendering that is easily portable, viewable by most latest systems with updated browser software.
Try this link (after updating to your latest browser software that is). This is a Bouncing Mandlbrot cubes example of WebGL http://learningwebgl.com/lessons/example02/ This site shows a few examples http://learningwebgl.com/blog/?p=11#examples The tutorial is available at http://learningwebgl.com/blog/?p=11 These are some of my experiences while trying to use shaders with VTK4 While configuring VTK 6.0 and above to generate the build files.
